With the University of Sydney and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (of Channel Nine fame) within its borders, it’s not surprising that Camperdown is a thriving Sydney suburb. Just a stone’s throw from the city, Camperdown’s Victorian and Edwardian streetscapes contrast with wide-open green areas.

As well as the university and the hospital, Camperdown features plenty of recreational facilities, including Camperdown Park, with its oval and tennis courts. It’s also right next door to the shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes of Newtown and King Street.
