People & Culture Advisor

We are looking for a team player who can support our people, leaders and the business on delivering the people agenda. You are able to with swan like grace manage all things HR administration (compliance, on boarding, contracts policy) yet you are entrepreneurial and hands on, as you support various client groups across the entire employment lifecycle, recruitment, on boarding/ off boarding, providing sound HR advice, organizing companywide compliance training, health and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sound HR advice on various company policy, procedures, ER, compensation, land general queries
  • Partner with Head of People and Culture on driving a high performance culture
  • Managing end to end Recruitment, candidate care, vacancy briefs, writing and posting advert to onboarding and induction of external new starters and internal transitions
  • Employment Relations – providing advice and managing issues promptly
  • HR Administration including contracts variations, commission annexures, policy updates
  • Oversee work health and safety initiatives and management
  • Coordinating company training, and health and wellbeing program
  • Confidently handling ER matters and delivering commercially aligned outcomes

What we’re looking for

  • HR Degree /Qualification with at least 3 -5 years’ professional experience
  • A team player who thrives on building credible trusted relationships
  • The ability to balance best practice, employment legislation and principles with the commercial needs of the business and our people
  • Resilient, agile, willing to learn and think outside the box
  • A self-starter, able to work both independently and collaboratively with the P&C and wider team
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail, business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
